Invitation to Celebrate the Life of Doug King
Dear Friends,
Please join us for a Memorial Service to celebrate the life of our dear friend, Doug King on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at 4:00 pm Pacific Time on Zoom conducted by Rev. Carla Healy. The Zoom link is below.
Doug was born on September 7, 1953 and passed away on September 6, 2021 with his wife Mary and daughter and son-in-law Kris at his side.
Doug was very active serving in The Summit Lighthouse. He became a Keeper of the Flame on August 9, 1986 and a communicant on April 14, 2017. He served as president of the Board of the Portland Study Group and most recently participated in and lead online decree services. Doug is best known to many for his great devotion to the violet flame. He faithfully gave two hours of violet flame decrees each day which gave him the glowing appearance of eternal youth.
